Poker Training Sites: GrinderSchool 2010-05-27 If you remember my older entries, you'll recall that I talked about some key poker tools that have the ability to help you improve your game. You read that it's useful to find some free poker videos since they really help you to learn some advanced strategies, and you don't have to spend any money. If you've already taken this advice and found a bunch of free videos, you might be wondering what to do next once you've exhausted the free video market on the internet. By now your bankroll should be growing, and the next step is to invest some of this profit on some more advanced videos. My next few articles are going give reviews on a few of the internet training sites that you are able to sign up for if you're eager for some new poker videos.
Today I'd like to talk about GrinderSchool as it caters to players at low stakes. For as little as $ 10/month, you get access to 600+ online poker videos by people that have proven they can make a lot of money in the games featured in their videos. The site releases 7 videos each week, and while the bulk of them feature No Limit Hold Em, at least four each month are videos for other games like Omaha or Razz. If you play ring games and your focus is No Limit Hold Em, you%u2019ll benefit a lot from a GrinderSchool subscription. There are a multitude of short-handed and full ring poker videos, and new players will have no trouble finding a few videos at their chosen low buy-in. If you play mainly heads-up or Limit, though, you might not be as happy. There are a few videos each game, but a long term subscription is probably not worth it for players that specialize in those types of poker. The same can be said for people that want help with Omaha or other less frequently played poker types like Draw. Are you as addicted to Rush Poker tournaments on Full Tilt as I am? Tournament players also have a good selection of videos, and most of them are by some really excellent players. The videos show buy-ins from $2 to $55, and a majority of the videos participate in a 3 to 9 part series. If you enjoy playing in tournaments outside your bankroll, you can also pick from videos that feature satellites. If you find MTT poker frustrating and prefer single-table tournaments, I highly recommend GrinderSchool. The SNG videos feature mostly the site's founder, but they recently hired a couple new respectable instructors. These videos feature stakes between $ 1 and $33, and both beginner and advanced concepts are covered. I give a big thumbs up to GrinderSchool as a site for new players trying real money poker sites. We've already seen how low the monthly cost is, and with no sign up fee, it's almost a no-brainer! If you play mostly Omaha or Stud, you probably should be looking elsewhere, but players new to No Limit Hold Em will benefit greatly from this training site. 0 Responses to "Poker Training Sites: GrinderSchool"Leave a reply | Author
